Job Description

REPORTS TO
Site Administrator Position Summary Education for Change is looking for dynamic and visionary leaders who will engage students, families, and other members of our learning community to ensure high student outcomes. The School Office Manager performs a variety of complex, diverse and supervisory administrative duties involving independent judgment. They assign, coordinate and review the work of support staff with a variety of job classifications within an office. In conjunction with the Administrator, the Office Manager identifies, plans and implements office administrative procedures and policies, and supervises and monitors the implementation of office procedures and policies including but not limited to employee time and attendance records, productivity records, processing of work such as document management, filing and storage procedures. They also manage, assign, coordinate and review the work of support staff.
Responsibilities:
Supervises, coordinates and implements office technology and communication systems including providing ongoing training to office staff on office technology and communication systems, and office policies and procedures Manages student information systems. Completes primary clerical assignments for the Administrator. Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as typing, bookkeeping, preparation of timesheets, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services. Evaluates office production, revises procedures, or devises new forms to improve efficiency of workflow. Maintains communication with the home office and provides information as needed. Other duties as may be assigned
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and four years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience, in a large organization or school. Departmental budget management, database management, spreadsheet analysis, and system applications experience. Meticulous attention to detail Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills Outstanding problem solving skills Effective oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate with various constituencies and to work comfortably with a variety of staff at all levels within the organization Proactive, independent thinker, goal oriented
