About Lumo Lumo is the precision irrigation system growers use to irrigate to plan. With block-level data and accountable automation, growers are able to close the gap between the volume of water they would like to apply and the volume that actually gets delivered in the field Lumo supports growers across California, Washington, and Canada manage water more precisely. We're a small, fast-moving team and this role is the operational backbone of our Santa Rosa office and warehouse. About the Role We're looking for the perfect blend between administrative organization and a hands-on warehouse component. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented — someone who can manage logistics and administrative tasks on a laptop in the morning and walk the warehouse floor in the afternoon to make sure inventory is accurate and orders are ready to go. You won't be doing heavy lifting every day, but you're not above it either. You might spend the morning processing invoices and the afternoon walking the warehouse floor, packing upcoming orders or even taking out the trash if you see it needs doing. For larger shipments you'll have contractors to oversee — but the baseline expectation is someone who keeps the space clean and running without being asked. What You'll Do Administration & Operations Process invoices and review shipping documents for accuracy Create and manage outbound shipments across our carrier platforms Maintain organized records for orders, shipments, and inventory Manage office supplies and keep the Santa Rosa office running smoothly Support the broader operations team with administrative tasks as needed Warehouse Oversight & Coordination Maintain inventory accuracy — counting, auditing, and flagging discrepancies Pick and stage inventory for upcoming field installations Test and prep equipment and materials ahead of installations Oversee contract labor for physical tasks like pallet building and large shipment prep Ensure the warehouse stays clean, organized, and well-labeled at all times What We're Looking For Highly organized — you keep lists, you follow through, things don't fall through the cracks Strong communicator digitally and in person — clear and responsive with the team whether over email, Slack, or in person Totally comfortable getting hands-on — you don't think twice about packing a box, moving inventory, or taking out the trash At ease with physical hardware — you can pick up an unfamiliar piece of equipment, figure out what it does, and handle it with care Curious by nature — you ask questions, you figure things out, you don't wait to be told when something looks off Reliable and self-directed; you'll own this space three days a week with minimal supervision Bonus Points Experience in logistics, shipping coordination, or supply chain administration Familiarity with invoice processing or purchase order workflows Background in warehousing, operations, or office administration Any experience in hardware, agriculture, or field services Compensation & Details $35/hour
Part-time:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-5pm (24 hrs/week) Paid sick leave per California law Based in Santa Rosa, CA — this is an on-site role
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
