Office Manager Academy of Music•Westminster Westminster, CA Job Details Part-time $19•$20 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook Employee relationship building Microsoft Office Administrative experience Organizational skills Office management Technical Proficiency Full Job Description The Academy of Music in Westminster is currently seeking an upbeat and energetic Office Manager whose role will be supporting the Academy's daily operations, including handling enrollments, providing support to staff, teachers, students, and parents, as well as liasing with all parties to foster a supportive, friendly, and engaging environment for all students! This position entails 40 hours per week, with Tue•Fri afternoons (2pm•8pm), Saturday/Sunday mornings, and Monday's off. In addition to hourly pay, the administrator will be eligible to receive bonus pay for milestones with the Academy and monthly enrollment targets. Administrators and their families also receive perks such as discounted tuition for themselves and their dependents. We develop musicians of all ages (from 2 years to adults) who enjoy performing and growing on a daily basis. We strive provide an opportunity to work in a fun and hip yet professional environment with professional musicians and dedicated and ambitious students. Responsibilities Provides information to parents and to students; communicates and consulting with other members of the school staff and with parents to ensure the best interest of the students Creates a welcoming environment for students and parents Partners with the Academy Associate Director to secure student recruitment and retention for private lessons, bands, and classes Responsible for oversight and management of front desk duties and reception area Administers daily schedule changes and billing questions Responsible for the timely opening and closing of the site Greets clients and prospective clients in a polite and courteous manner Requirements Ability to interface successfully with the public Strong interpersonal skills in order to facilitate good working relationships Ability to work well with people Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population Courteous, kind, compassionate, and fun individual Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Outlook Go-getter type of personality Technologically-savvy Commitment to work at the Academy for at least two years•we look for individuals who want to grow with the organization Think you are a fit?
