Evening Front Office Supervisor |
Full Time Job Summary:
The primary duties of the front office supervisor are to provide leadership to the front desk team and to assist guests with check-in & check-out processes, provide guests with hotel services information, and accommodate guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and friendly manner, the Ayres Way.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform duties as outlined in the Front Office Training Procedures. Train Front Office staff as designated and outlined in the Front Office Training Procedures. Assist and guide the front office staff through their daily duties and responsibilities. As needed, recommends performance improvement plans (PIPs) and disciplinary actions for staff, documents performance issues, provides constructive feedback, and follows company policies for fairness and legal compliance. As needed, process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received via telephone, email, fax, or mail in a timely manner. Assist guests with check-in & check-out processes, and issue room keys to registered hotel guests. Maintain the security of cash, credit card transactions, and guest information. Maintain guest confidentiality. Ensure guest needs are responded to in a timely and efficient manner. Conduct self in a friendly and attentive manner during all guest encounters. Able to make reasonable and professional decisions. Assists guests with luggage delivered or go get extra amenities, towels and bedding. Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to Company Core Values and Mission Statement. Responsible for working in a safe and conscientious manner Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Team player. Flexible working hours. Possess a positive, outgoing and friendly personality. Ability to provide excellent guest service. • Excellent active listening to understand the individual needs of each guest. Ability to use nonverbal skills to identify a guest's satisfaction or dissatisfaction with their stay. Ability to apply time management skills. Ability to focus attention to detail. Exercise good judgment and be a clear thinker in pressure situations. Ability to read and understand proper procedures. Ability to perform basic calculation. Ability to analyze, solve problems and make sound decisions. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision while meeting high performance standards. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Maintaining current federal and state regulatory training is required.
