Denver, CO Job Details Full-time $25 - $31 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Filing Attention to detail Decision making QuickBooks Organizational skills Bookkeeping Bank reconciliation Full Job Description Position Summary We're seeking a full-time Office Manager/Accountant to handle the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of our business. This person will manage bookkeeping in QuickBooks Desktop, use Google Calendar for office and administrative purposes, enter data into our monitoring station system, and perform minor programming of alarm panels using Honeywell Compass software. Over time, this role is expected to operate with a high degree of independence, managing the office with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Manage all bookkeeping and accounting functions in QuickBooks, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payroll support, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting Use Google Calendar for office organization and administrative tracking Enter and update customer and account data in the central station monitoring software Perform minor programming and updates to alarm panels using Honeywell Compass software Answer phones, and handle general office correspondence Maintain accurate customer files, contracts, and service records Process new customer accounts, service requests, and contract renewals Order office and field supplies as needed Assist with permits, licensing, and compliance documentation as required Eventually take 100% control of office operations and day-to-day decision-making with minimal supervision Qualifications Significant hands-on experience with QuickBooks (required) — comfortable managing books independently, not just data entry Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable learning new software systems (monitoring station software and Honeywell Compass training will be provided) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Self-motivated and able to work independently once trained Prior experience in an office manager, bookkeeper, or accountant role Experience in the alarm, security, or low-voltage industry is a plus, but not required

$25.00 - $31.00 per hour
