Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Orthopedic Office Manager/Biller , where your leadership and administrative expertise will drive the smooth operation of our orthopedic practice. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily clinic operations, manage billing and coding processes, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a positive environment for both staff and patients. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient financial and administrative workflows. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the front office staff, including medical administrative support, ensuring seamless clinic operations and excellent patient service. Manage billing, credentialling coding, and reimbursement processes using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system like eClinicalWorks , to optimize revenue cycle management. Oversee medical records management, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule appointments, follow-ups, and procedures while maintaining clinic efficiency. Handle financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing audits, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal health of the practice. Supervise human resources functions including staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and compliance with employment laws. Ensure adherence to healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and utilization management protocols. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology related to orthopedics and acute care to facilitate effective communication across teams. Support practice management initiatives by implementing process improvements and managing vendor relationships for EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management within orthopedic or similar clinical settings; clinic experience highly preferred. Strong background in billing and coding with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading administrative or clinical teams in healthcare environments. Knowledge of medical terminology related to orthopedics, acute care, and managed care practices. Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle optimization. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management standards to ensure compliance. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting. $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
