As a key member of the administrative team, you will oversee financial processes, billing operations, and administrative functions critical to the success of our facility. Your expertise in financial management, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will contribute to our ability to provide high-quality care to our residents while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Business Office Manager Responsibilities :
Assist with Medicaid Pending applications, and work with resident, family and applicable outside agencies to finalize facility coverage through Medicaid. Establish and maintain a system of financial record keeping, to include issuing receipts, preparing, and making bank deposits, and recording payments using proper segregation of duties. Interact with home office billing team and payers to define billing requirements and ensures prompt payment of claims. Manage census activities including daily, weekly, and monthly balancing with the nursing and admissions departments. Responsible for Resident Trust Account for in-house residents, to include weekly and monthly reconciliations. Must have skilled nursing Business Office Manager experience. Interacts with residents, family members, staff, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions/circumstances. Responsible for private pay collections.
Business Office Manager Qualifications:
Experience in skilled nursing/long term care facility. Computer and Collection experience Must have working knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles in skilled nursing setting to include Private Pay, Medicaid Pending, Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing.
