The Hotel Front Desk Manager oversees daily reception operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, managing staff scheduling and training, and resolving customer complaints. They act as the primary leader for check-in/check-out, supervise front office staff, and optimize room revenue in coordination with management.
Key Responsibilities Staff Management & Training:
Hiring, training, scheduling, and mentoring front desk agents to meet hotel standards.
Guest Services & Relations:
Greeting guests, overseeing efficient check-in/check-out processes, and resolving complaints, issues, or emergencies promptly.
Operational Oversight:
Managing daily front desk operations, ensuring compliance with security/safety procedures, and maintaining lobby appearance.
Administrative & Financial Duties:
Managing budgets, preparing reports (occupancy, financial), and auditing records.
Communication & Coordination:
Acting as a liaison between front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure room availability.
Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management is typically required.
Technology:
Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS), reservation systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Leadership:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
