Front Office Reports to: General Manager At EVEN Hotel Sarasota - Lakewood Ranch, we don't just check guests in — we set the stage for their entire wellness journey. As Front Desk Manager, you are the leader of the heartbeat. You'll own the first and last impression, drive exceptional guest satisfaction scores, maximize revenue, and build a high-energy, wellness-focused front office team that consistently delivers on IHG's four pillars: eat well, rest easy, keep active, and accomplish more. This is a true leadership role for someone who lives hospitality, leads by example, and knows how to turn a busy lobby into a calm, restorative experience — even at 110% occupancy. What You'll Do Lead, train, schedule, and inspire a team of 8-12 Front Desk Clerks, ensuring every shift radiates warmth, accuracy, and genuine care.
Own the daily operation:
flawless check-in/check-out flow, accurate room assignments, upselling in-room fitness zones & packages, and proactive recovery of any service issues. Master
OPERA PMS
— run reports, manage inventory, load rates/packages, conduct night audit oversight, and train the team on best practices. Drive revenue through strategic upselling, IHG One Rewards enrollment, and wellness package promotion (Athletic Studio access, healthy dining credits, etc.). Partner closely with Housekeeping, F&B, Sales, and Maintenance to deliver seamless guest experiences and resolve issues before they escalate. Consistently achieve top-tier IHG guest satisfaction scores, Medallia/Guest Love results, and TripAdvisor rankings. Maintain a pristine, organized, and energizing front desk and lobby that reflects EVEN's clean, light-filled wellness aesthetic. Conduct daily stand-up huddles, weekly one-on-ones, monthly training sessions, and ongoing recognition to keep morale and performance high. Step in and work the desk whenever needed — you're never above jumping on the line during peak arrivals or short staffing. What We're Looking For (Must-Haves) 2+ years as Front Desk Supervisor, Assistant Front Office Manager, or higher in a select-service or lifestyle hotel (IHG experience strongly preferred). Expert-level knowledge of
OPERA PMS
— you can run it with your eyes closed and train others to do the same. Proven track record of leading teams to high guest satisfaction scores and revenue results. Natural coach and motivator who develops talent and holds people accountable with positivity. Calm under pressure, decisive, and solutions-oriented — you thrive in the controlled chaos of a busy front desk. Full flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call needs.
