This pivotal role combines expertise in medical office management with strong fiscal oversight, ensuring smooth clinic operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and exceptional support for clinical staff. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate leadership in supervising administrative teams, and possess comprehensive knowledge of medical billing, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and healthcare compliance standards. Duties Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient registration, and medical records management to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and accounts receivable/payable using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks. Supervise administrative staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare privacy standards while safeguarding patient information. Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize workflow and improve patient experience across medical and dental services. Oversee human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, staff scheduling, and maintaining employee records in accordance with employment laws. Monitor practice performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial health. Requirements Proven experience managing a medical or dental office environment with strong supervisory responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of medical office management practices including billing, coding (Medical terminology), and electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks. Demonstrated fiscal management skills encompassing budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management. Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards. Proficiency in managing human resources functions within a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of medical administrative support functions such as appointment scheduling, patient intake procedures, and medical records management.
