Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office manager and Medical Biller. This vital role combines the responsibilities of managing medical billing processes with overseeing daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate financial transactions, and excellent patient service. The ideal candidate will be efficient, proactive, able to multi-task, organized, and prior experience in medical office management. Passionate about supporting both administrative efficiency and financial health in a busy healthcare setting. Responsibilities Manage the entire medical billing cycle, including insurance claims submission, denial management, payment posting, and follow-up and processing of unpaid claims to ensure timely reimbursement. Strong knowledge of verification of patient insurance information and eligibility prior to service delivery to prevent billing errors. Supervise daily essential office operations such as managing referrals, supervision of patient check-in/check-out procedures, and handling correspondence. Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies or claim denials efficiently. Hiring and training, and support a positive team environment. Manage employees hours, reduce waste and increase efficiency Manage Inventory Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, privacy laws (such as HIPAA), and organizational policies. Implementation of new technology, work with vendors to improve work flow, financial health, find growth opportunities and work actively to implement ideas Requirements Proven experience in medical billing, coding (preferably with certifications like CPC or CCS), and insurance claim processing. Strong understanding of healthcare billing software and electronic health record systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and team members. Ability to lead office operations while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and billing compliance requirements. Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
