Director of Rooms Job Summary:
The Front Office Manager at Sirata Beach Resort - Tapestry Collection by Hilton is responsible for leading all front office operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences aligned with Hilton brand standards. This role oversees daily front desk functions, drives team performance, and ensures operational efficiency while maintaining a strong guest-first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all front desk operations, including guest check-in/out, room assignments, and Hilton Honors program execution Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by proactively resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner Lead, train, coach, and develop front office team members to maintain service excellence Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations Manage front office scheduling, labor productivity, and daily staffing needs Maintain inventory control of front office supplies, uniforms, and equipment Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and internal SOPs Oversee and ensure proper use, training, and data accuracy within the Hilton OnQ system Utilize HotSOS to monitor and manage guest requests and service recovery efforts Monitor departmental expenses and support financial performance goals Serve as Manager on Duty as needed and lead emergency/crisis response efforts Enforce all safety, security, and privacy policies in accordance with Hilton and Tapestry Collection standards
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a hotel front office environment (required) Previous Hilton experience is required Proficiency in Hilton OnQ system is required Experience with Opera PMS and HotSOS systems preferred Strong understanding of hotel front office operations, labor planning, and guest service standards Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Experience with scheduling, inventory control, and budget management is a plus Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
