Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Administrator to join our team! This vital role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of our office environment, providing exceptional support to staff, customers, and visitors alike. We are a small, family owned and operated processing plant. As the backbone of daily administrative functions, you will manage a variety of tasks that keep our workplace running seamlessly. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a productive, welcoming atmosphere where everyone can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills while contributing to a vibrant team environment. Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and warmth Handle all clerical duties including data entry, filing, proofreading, and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools Manage calendar delivery schedules, and meetings efficiently through calendar management systems Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks to support financial recordkeeping and invoicing Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email, ensuring clear communication and positive interactions Support office management activities such as organizing supplies, maintaining office equipment, and overseeing daily operations Coordinate with team members for smooth workflow, including personal assistant responsibilities when needed Requirements Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with a strong background in office management and customer support Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and basic computer literacy skills Familiarity with QuickBooks for bookkeeping and data entry tasks is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently Strong phone etiquette skills with experience handling multi-line phone systems in a professional manner Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse client needs Knowledge of office equipment operation including printers, scanners, and fax machines Join us as an Office Administrator if you're eager to bring energy, precision, and professionalism into a fast-paced environment!
