Job Description

We are seeking an organized and proactive Office Manager for a contract opportunity with a nonprofit organization in Tallahassee, FL. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who enjoys keeping office operations running smoothly, supporting executive leadership, coordinating facilities needs, and serving as a trusted resource across departments. The Office Manager will work in a mission-driven, professional environment where teamwork, communication, and service are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily office operations, including mail distribution, phone coverage, filing systems, office supplies, building access, employee badges, and general administrative workflow.
  • Provide executive administrative support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, document routing, board meeting support, and special project assistance.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, petty cash reconciliation, check requests, procurement activities, and basic budget tracking.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, employee engagement activities, catering, audiovisual needs, conference room scheduling, and internal office communications.
  • Serve as a key liaison for facilities, vendors, cleaning services, office equipment, document storage, shredding services, maintenance projects, and related operational needs.
  • Support cross-functional activities such as IT equipment coordination, recruitment and onboarding preparation, purchasing card administration, fleet documentation, and donation or gift processing as needed. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Rate:
    $19.00 per hour.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Assignment Length:
    3 to 6 month contract with potential for permanent hire.
