Job Description

Overview Join our healthcare team as the first Sullivan Orthopedics Office Manager! You will lead the daily operations of a new orthopedic concierge-adjacent practice. This is an opportunity to help start and grow a new practice that focuses on cutting-edge medicine within a family environment. This is not corporate medicine! You will be an important part and face of the practice. This role requires a combination of administrative excellence and clinical knowledge to ensure smooth clinic functioning, exceptional patient experiences, and effective team management. You will oversee financial operations, staff supervision, medical records management, and compliance with healthcare regulations, all while fostering an efficient and welcoming work environment. Responsibilities Manage daily clinic operations, ensuring seamless coordination between clinical staff, administrative personnel, and patients. Oversee fiscal management including budgeting, billing processes, and financial reporting. Supervise office staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions to cultivate a motivated team. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all medical records and patient information. Coordinate with healthcare providers on medical management tasks, EMR/EHR systems. Oversee medical administrative support functions such as appointment scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, and billing procedures. Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and manage utilization review processes for managed care plans. Facilitate smooth clinic operations by managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and facility safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in medical office management within orthopedic or related healthcare settings. Strong supervisory background with demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Experience with fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, billing procedures, and managed care coordination. Background in clinic or hospital environments with familiarity in acute care or surgical settings preferred. Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
