Job Description - Office & Warehouse Administrator
PURPOSE OF POSITION AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Operations and warehouse team in Macon.REQUIREMENTS
(Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities) Education A high school diploma/GED equivalent is required for this position. Experience A minimum of two year of experience in Warehouse is required. A minimum of one year of experience in office is preferred. Experience using RF scanner is preferred Skills, Knowledge & Abilities This person must possess above-average written and oral communication skills. Basic skillset utilizing computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook are required. Must be able to multitask while efficiently prioritizing. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods when required.ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS
Responsibilities Manage daily office operations, including filing, data entry, scheduling, and document management. Answering phone calls Support management with administrative projects and operational tasks. Collect and distribute daily mail. Responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies, coffee service, copier supplies, etc. Assist with receiving, shipping, and organizing inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records and update internal systems as needed. Prepare paperwork for shipments, deliveries, and transfers. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment. Perform inventory counts and assist with stock audits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas. Relationships with Others Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with administration/management. Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with other Hallway Plumbing employees. Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with external contacts. Coordinates with all other employees in a manner that maximizes overall business effectiveness. Physical Demands Lifts 50 pounds from the floor to waist level and can carry such objects for at least 50 feet. Judgment & Decision Making Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning regarding the daily administration of all functions and activities associated with this position. Demonstrates good judgment in providing information and advice regarding top priorities and important issues. Demonstrates good judgment regarding escalating issues, which are beyond the scope and control of this position in a timely manner. Demonstrates good judgment in respecting the confidentiality of customer and company information. Seeking guidance and direction from appropriate members within the organization as may be required in the performance of responsibilities and duties. Planning & Time Utilization Consistently demonstrates the ability to recognize and deal with priorities in a manner related to high-level administrative activities and duties. Uses available time during any workday in a wise and productive manner to maximize work efficiency. Spends reasonable additional time beyond normal working hours as may be required to meet project demands. Reads, responds, and takes action daily on all emails received.
