Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Office Administrator / Customer Service Agent to support the daily operations of our Augusta office. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the team, deliver excellent service to agents and clients, and help maintain a well-organized and efficient office environment. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, dependable, and committed to ensuring smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
  • Serve as a point of contact for agents and customers, providing prompt and professional assistance.
  • Respond to inquiries, resolve routine issues, and ensure a positive experience for all visitors and callers.
  • Support strong client and agent relationships through friendly, accurate, and reliable service. Administrative Support
  • Manage daily office tasks including answering phones, handling mail, taking payments, keying in applications, and balancing incoming premiums.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) to ensure information is easily accessible. Financial & Transactional Support
  • Perform routine cash-handling tasks such as accepting payments, issuing receipts, and preparing daily deposits.
  • Maintain accuracy and compliance with company financial procedures.
  • Report discrepancies or issues promptly to management.
Qualifications Previous experience in office administration or customer service; insurance or financial services industry experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
