Job Description

Description:
The Front Office Supervisor oversees daily front desk operations and serves as a lead resource for Front Desk and Call Center Teams. This role serves as a liaison between providers and the team to ensure patient needs are met. The supervisor role supports staffing, scheduling, training, mentoring, and workflow coordination to ensure efficient operations and exceptional patient service. The supervisor assists with employee performance feedback, timecard and attendance management, onboarding, and resolving patient concerns while promoting a positive team environment and maintaining professional standards. Responsibilities Serves as a resource and first point of contact for Front Desk Representative team member. Collaborates with Manager to make day to day staff assignments and changes when staff members call out or scheduled time off; will work as back up for staff member. Assist in training new employees, acts as new employee mentor, cross-training staff, and re-training staff. Helps identify team members for training opportunities Contribute feedback and perspective to hiring and orientation of new and potential employees Assists the Manager in strategically planning for effective workflow according to volume in a manner that maintains staff and patient satisfaction. Reviews employee work for quality and provides positive and/or constructive feedback on all team members including 30 and 90 day reviews. Removes obstacles hindering the completion of work and communicates these obstacles and needs to the Manager Responsible for addressing patient issues or complaints that arose within the department. Collaborates with manager to develop standard operating procedures, educational tools and reference tools for all roles on the team. Acts as an example of SEC Culture and professional standards through their actions, attitude, and communications with internal and external contacts Reviews and approves all timecards and manages employee time off requests Serves as a liaison between providers and the team to ensure patient needs are met and staff is not overwhelmed.
Requirements:
Education and Qualifications High school diploma or GED, required.
