About Amer Rugs Amer Rugs is a growing wholesale rug company serving furniture retailers, interior designers, flooring dealers, and home furnishing stores throughout North America. We take pride in delivering quality products and exceptional service while maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and support our accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate enjoys keeping things organized, takes ownership of their work, and is eager to learn, contribute, and grow their career with our company. Responsibilities Process payroll and maintain payroll-related records Review, verify, and process vendor invoices Manage vendor payments and accounts payable Assist with collections and customer payment follow-ups Enter payments, invoices, and accounting transactions into company software Process employee expense reports Prepare and deposit checks Maintain organized office records and filing systems Order office supplies and coordinate general office needs Assist with employee onboarding paperwork and basic HR administration Coordinate office maintenance and vendor services Support company leadership with administrative tasks and special projects Help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations Qualifications 4+ years of office administration, office management, bookkeeping, payroll, or related experience Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge Experience handling invoices, payments, and payroll preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills High attention to detail and accuracy Professional communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes Strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally Ability to adapt and take on new responsibilities as the company continues to grow Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP or accounting software Experience in wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or a small business environment Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or collections Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid vacation and holidays Opportunity for long-term growth and advancement Supportive and team-oriented work environment Stable and growing company Why Join Amer Rugs?
