Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Home Health Office Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our home health services. In this vital role, you will coordinate clinical, administrative, and financial functions to ensure exceptional patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Your leadership will foster a collaborative environment, streamline office workflows, and manage staff to deliver efficient, high-quality home health services. This position plays a critical role in ensuring caregivers are properly scheduled, clients receive quality service, and office operations run smoothly. Duties Manage the overall operations of the home health office, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation Supervise administrative staff, nurses, and medical support personnel to ensure smooth workflow and high performance Oversee medical records management, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Axiscare Coordinate billing, coding, and reimbursement processes utilizing financial management tools and practice management software Monitor fiscal management activities including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting to maintain profitability and sustainability Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards, Medicare/Medicaid policies, and managed care requirements Facilitate communication between clinical teams, patients, families, and external providers to optimize care delivery Implement quality improvement initiatives focusing on patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency Conduct human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development in compliance with employment laws Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a home health or acute care setting Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated success managing multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare environment Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Axiscare, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms; experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA regulations, and clinical workflows Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource planning Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards and utilization management practices Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting Background in nursing or medical administrative support is highly desirable; clinic or hospital experience preferred Strong communication skills for liaising with staff members at all levels and external partners Join us as a Home Health Office Manager to lead our dedicated team in providing compassionate care while ensuring operational excellence.
