Job Description

ENT Medical Services, PC, is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to lead the financial and operational performance of our well-established, physician-owned ENT practice. Founded in 1957, our clinic has a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional ear, nose, and throat care to patients across Eastern Iowa. Our practice includes 4 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners, supported by a comprehensive suite of ancillary services, including:
  • Audiology and hearing aid services
  • Allergy testing and immunotherapy
  • A 4-bed sleep lab
  • Sleep supply DME store
  • A medical spa specializing in cosmetic and medical skin treatments This is a unique opportunity to join a respected, multi-service practice with deep community roots and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Position Overview The Practice Administrator is responsible for the overall financial management, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations of the clinic. This individual will work closely with physician leadership to ensure the continued growth, efficiency, and excellence of the practice. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all administrative and operational functions of the practice
  • Manage financial performance
  • Optimize clinic workflows, staffing, and patient experience
  • Supervision of clinical and administrative services with focus on operational improvements
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards
  • Partner with physicians on long-term planning and business development
  • Oversee HR functions including hiring, performance management, and staff development Manage vendor relationships and contracts
  • Provide leadership and oversight of information technology systems, including system optimization, vendor coordination, and cybersecurity awareness
  • Ensure effective use and continuous improvement of electronic health record (EHR) and practice management systems
  • Serve as an internal resource for basic IT support, assisting staff with troubleshooting day-to-day hardware and software issues Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Practice Administrator or Office Manager in a small to mid-sized private medical practice
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in multi-service or ancillary healthcare operations preferred
  • Experience with Greenway Health Intergy Practice Management System and Intergy EHR preferred
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, including troubleshooting workstations, printers, and network-connected devices and ability to assist end users in resolving basic technical issues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, billing, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
