Job Description

Hotel Operations:
  • Manage and monitor front desk employees and activities making sure they are adhering to excellent standards and follow front desk job description.
  • Coach, train, and mentor front desk staff on hotel policies and procedures when needed.
  • Assist GM/AGM to monitor IHG University and complete training as required by the Brand
  • Always provide
EXCELLENT
customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Act as manager on duty when the manager is not present.
  • Handle guest complaints, issues, special requests, and solve any other issues that arise.
  • Communicate with GM daily on staff, happenings, arrivals, and other front desk operations that need to be delivered.
  • Assist AGM in scheduling staff and Labor Management/Reporting
  • Assist in hiring, training, and leading new employees.
  • Be a champion of hotel inventory management, House Accounts & Accounts Receivable
  • Engage and reply to customer reviews
  • Inventory management and control of the Express Shop and Front Office needs
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and shift coverage as needed.
Sales:
  • Show excellence in working with the team members on how to handle Sales leads and convert to LNR's
  • Coach all front desk staff on gathering leads, negotiating rates, enrollments, and reservation script.
Group Maintenance:
Enter group blocks into the system, coordinate of the group until the arrival date, enter rooming lists.
  • Check and review daily reports, cash, and credit card charges. Share with GM on discrepancies.
  • Work closely and communicate with housekeeping to improve communication & guest services to enhance the guest experience
  • Share accurate room reports or changes with housekeeping to prepare for daily arrivals, departures, and in-house guests.
  • Assist GM/AGM in meeting monthly goals in all areas.
Requirements Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a hospitality setting Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles, including guest services and hotel operations Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise Ability to manage a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism IHG experience preferred Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests!
