Job Description

Our client is currently looking for a Property and Office Manager who is able to work in Rantoul, IL. See job description below. Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Property and Office Manager to lead our organization towards operational excellence. In this role, you will manage pivotal tasks for our businesses (campground, warehouse, auto shop, auto dealership, properties, etc) The overall main task is to 'fill in the gaps' of regular business operations. When unprecedented tasks arise the manager must be able to do the research, weigh options, and interpolate a solution to the best of their abilities. The mentality of "the buck stops with me" as in, the overall final success of the business relies on good management, to have initiative to prevent losses, damages as well as maximize opportunities and shift business direction for future growth is a must.
Responsibilities:
Run payroll Pay property taxes Collect rent on properties Schedule property maintenance Make sure all insurances are in place and paid on time Manage bank account (deposit checks, make sure we order paper checks on time, make sure our balances are at minimums, pay off cc when due) Manage basic accounting on quick books Audit employee reported hours Inspect rental properties Submit legal documents for evictions when necessary Sign leases for rental properties Make sure utilities are paid for all businesses Fulfill operators needs, documents, permits, etc Make sure they have funds to operate Research equipment, options for yearly tasks such as "clubhouse renovations" "bathroom remodel" "parking lot expansion" Other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree. Strong initiative and accountability. 2 years of management experience OR property management experience. 1 year of payroll/accounting experience. Proficient with Excel and Word. Expertise in strategic planning with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Currently benefits are only PTO, Holidays, and company car.

$55,000.00
