Job Description

Office & Operations Manager Position Type:
Full-Time, In-Office Location:
Greenwood, IN (Sothern Indianapolis area)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Compensation:
$65,000 a year • dependent on experience. •
Introductory Period:
Full starting salary begins on Day 1. Comprehensive benefits enrollment and a formal performance evaluation take place upon successful completion of a 90-day introductory period. Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and exceptionally resilient Office & Operations Manager to oversee daily administrative and logistical functions for Southway Sanitation. This role requires a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong emotional intelligence, and can confidently handle high-pressure situations with a solution-oriented mindset. If you are highly adaptive, a master at multitasking, and ready to take complete ownership of a critical operational role, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Daily Operations:
Oversee company administrative functions to ensure maximum efficiency across all departments.
Financial Support:
Assist with essential accounting tasks including invoicing, processing payments, and meticulous recordkeeping.
Logistics & Scheduling:
Coordinate dispatching and rapid response scheduling for sanitation routes and emergency environmental services.
Customer Relations:
Manage high-volume customer communications and resolve complex service issues professionally and calmly.
Data Management:
Maintain highly organized physical and digital records to streamline company workflows.
Qualifications & Skills Professional Resilience & Composure:
Proven ability to stay calm under pressure, maintain strong composure, and handle direct feedback or challenging client interactions with grace.
Multi-Tasking Mastery:
Exceptional organizational skills to effortlessly balance competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Problem-Solving Ownership:
A proactive mindset with the ability to step in, resolve conflicts independently, and optimize office systems.
Clear Communication:
Confident, professional verbal and written communication skills for both internal team and external client interactions.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with office management software, basic accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks/Excel), and dispatch scheduling systems.
