Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Business Office Manager to lead the administrative and financial operations within our healthcare facility. This pivotal role combines expertise in medical office management, fiscal oversight, and team supervision to ensure seamless clinic functioning. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to managing medical records, billing, human resources, and compliance, all while fostering an efficient and patient-centered environment. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, support clinical teams, and uphold the highest standards of healthcare administration. Duties Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing processes, and accounts receivable using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft Supervise medical administrative support staff, ensuring accurate medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper handling of medical terminology and documentation Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development for office personnel Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards and HIPAA privacy rules while maintaining high-quality medical management practices Oversee clinic-specific tasks like utilization management, managed care processes, and medical billing procedures to ensure timely reimbursement Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively for data entry, reporting, and maintaining comprehensive medical records across various specialties including nursing, acute care, dental clinics, or veterinary practices Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management with a strong background in healthcare administration across diverse settings such as clinics or hospitals Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within a healthcare environment Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial oversight, and revenue cycle management Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar platforms Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records handling, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations (JCAHO standards preferred) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in fast-paced settings like acute care or dental offices Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clinical staff and external partners Join us to lead our administrative team with energy and purpose!
