Job Description

Senior Accountant Position Overview The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's financial records, accounting infrastructure, and administrative coordination across multiple entities. This role requires a highly organized financial professional with experience in multi-entity accounting, payroll administration, and cash flow oversight within a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role requiring strong accounting proficiency, operational insight, and sound financial judgment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to maintain accurate financial oversight while supporting the broader operational needs of the business. bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred. Key Responsibilities Maintain complete and accurate financial records for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with established accounting standards and internal controls. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. Manage full payroll administration, including processing, recordkeeping, compliance with tax and deduction requirements, and providing employee support regarding PTO, garnishments, and other payroll-related inquiries. Prepare monthly financial statements, internal reports, and supporting documentation for management review. Monitor and manage organizational cash flow across multiple entities. Develop and improve financial processes while managing daily execution. Maintain organized financial documentation and administrative records in accordance with company policies. Coordinate with external professionals including accountants (CPA) and auditors as necessary. Qualifications & Skills Demonstrates strong financial ethics and a commitment to maintaining sound internal controls. Comfortable working in a hands-on, owner-led environment. Maintains attention to detail without losing sight of operational priorities. Capable of clearly communicating financial information and insights to leadership. Experience managing accounting records across multiple entities is strongly preferred. High level of discretion, accountability, and independent problem-solving skills.
