  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Manager / Legal Assistant to join our legal team.
This vital role combines administrative leadership with legal support functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our law office while providing comprehensive assistance on a wide range of legal matters. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of office management practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills and legal knowledge will make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities Provide executive administrative support to the managing partner, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and court hearing scheduling Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and file organization to ensure efficiency and compliance with firm policies Assist with document review, drafting legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail Utilize legal case filing system to electronically file pleadings with courts Support litigation activities by preparing discovery documents, organizing case files, and managing deadlines Perform legal administrative tasks including proofreading, transcription, data entry, and maintaining organized filing systems Skills Extensive knowledge of various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent written communication skills for drafting documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities Exceptional phone etiquette combined with effective professional interpersonal skills for client interactions and internal communication Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high standards of accuracy in data entry and filing
