Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team and drive excellence in supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics processes, optimizing warehouse distribution, coordinating transportation, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. Your expertise will help enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where proactive problem-solving and strategic planning are valued. Responsibilities Oversee supply chain management activities, including procurement, sourcing, and category management to ensure timely delivery of goods. Coordinate warehouse operations such as inventory control, materials handling, shipping & receiving, and warehouse management system (WMS) updates. Manage transportation planning and transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize freight routes, reduce transit times, and control transportation costs. Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and implement process improvements to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with vendors and 3PL providers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service levels while maintaining strong supplier management relationships. Utilize data analysis skills, SQL queries, and supply chain analytics tools like Tableau for data collection, reporting, and decision-making support. Support demand planning and production planning activities using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to align inventory levels with forecasted demand. Requirements Proven experience in logistics roles with a strong understanding of supply chain processes. Proficiency with QuickBooks- accounts and receivables Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), freight forwarding (including NVOCC), shipping & receiving procedures, and dispatching. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets using SQL or Tableau for actionable insights. Excellent HR skills Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement continuous process improvements within a fast-paced supply chain environment. Effective communication skills paired with a proactive approach to problem-solving in supply chain analytics and logistics coordination. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
