Front Office Manager Spark by Hilton Lexington Hamburg Lexington, KY Job Details Full-time From $38,500 a year 1 day ago Benefits Free parking Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Managing teams as an office manager Hotel customer satisfaction operations Team motivation (leadership skill) Full Job Description Front Office Manager Spark by Hilton Lexington Hamburg As Front Office Manager, you will oversee the Front Office Team, which serves as the primary connection between the guest, the hotel, and various departments. You are responsible for managing the first impressions of our guests and ensuring an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out. What will I be doing? As Front Office Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability, including: Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain Hilton brand standards Evaluate levels of guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement Become the property guru on Hilton brand standards, Hilton Honors membership program, and the PEP property management system. Recognize Hilton Honors guests and ensure personalized service; and strive to enroll non-Hilton members into the Honors program to help achieve monthly targets. Maximize room occupancy and average daily rate through upselling techniques Set departmental objectives, work schedules, create & enforce policies and procedures Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of Front Office Team Members Recruit, train, coach, and develop front desk staff and night auditors Ensure Team Members maintain current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, policies, and stay current on Hilton-required training Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with all departments Monitor staffing levels and labor costs to meet business demands. Work together with the General Manager to step-in and cover vacations, days-off, and call-ins , as needed. Conduct departmental meetings and training sessions Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues professionally and promptly. Respond to all direct & third-party reviews and Guest Assistance-related concerns. Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, audit controls, and company policies Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health & safety legislation What are we looking for? A Front Office Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our guests and with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following: Minimum of 2 years of Front Office supervisory or management experience Previous hotel experience, ideally with a Hilton-branded property Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills Priority will be given to candidates with knowledge of Hilton PEP Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work flexible hours (any shift), including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to train, motivate, and hold teams accountable Ability to be personable and not afraid to deal with aggressive or troublesome guests Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field Knowledge of Hilton PEP property management system Hilton brand experience preferred Candidates with a strong knowledge of Hilton PEP property management system are strongly preferred.
Compensation:
This will be a salaried position. Pay rate will be determined by level of experience.
