Job Description

Blue House Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day office operations for The Myrtles, Restaurant 1796, Big River Pizza Company, and Blue House Hospitality.
Job Summary:
The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative functions for all associated businesses. This role involves managing general office operations, running weekly payroll, handling data entry, processing deposits, overseeing bill payments, maintaining filing systems, and managing email correspondence. In addition, this role serves as a personal assistant to the owners and the General Manager and will manage various tasks that can include handling permits and licensing, shipping/receiving, and office related personal tasks. The Office Manager will work closely with our Controller and CPA to ensure smooth financial and operational processes.
Office Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining office records. Process weekly payroll for all businesses. Lead a weekly staff orientation for new hires. Onboard new hires and process paperwork. Offboard terminated employees and process paperwork. Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions and record-keeping. Handle deposits and monitor bank accounts. Oversee bill payments and manage vendor relationships. Coordinate communication between different departments and businesses. Provide support for audits and other financial reviews. Be the notetaker for all management related meetings and send out recap emails.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an office manager or similar role, ideally in a hospitality or restaurant environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in office software, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with payroll systems and financial data entry (QuickBooks). Strong technology skills to use our current software's and systems (OneDrive, Toast, MarginEdge, Slack, Ramp) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt to changes and thrive in a growing and dynamic business environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A positive attitude when problem solving issues.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in any related field. Two years of experience in an office-related position. Experience in QuickBooks preferred.
Working Conditions:
This job runs Monday through Friday and has a somewhat flexible schedule. This position can be completed in 25-30 hours a week based on the seasonality of these businesses. This position is task and work-load focused, rather than a strict 30 hour a week position. $20-$24 hourly wage based on experience level.
