Job Description

Mardi Gras Imports has a part time to full time position available and this will grow into more hours if you are available during our busy Mardi Gras season. To start we are looking for at least 20 hours a week, 4 to 5 days a week up to 35 hours a week. Computer skills are necessary with knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. You must have the ability to communicate with staff, customers and the general public. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and has the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. This is not a desk job as you will be counting inventory on the sales floor and in the warehouse, advising on quality control of merchandise, transferring goods to other locations, managing our office, hiring new staff, onboarding, training, etc. You will be on your feet most of the day and at a desk part of the day. Inventory, Merchandising, Leadership Skills... Come on in and have some fun at MGI Slidell!!! Starting at $22 an hour. Paid time off after one year.
