Office Administrator. The Society office and museum are located within the historic Old Town Hall at 16 South Road in the center of Bedford. The position reports to the Society's President and Board of Directors but will work independently managing the office. Responsibilities Typical duties include, but are not limited to, staffing the museum during operating hours; responding to initial inquiries from the public; maintaining membership records; managing merchandise sales and inventory; administering the website and social media; and using the Society's office and financial software applications. Skills The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with computer software office applications, enthusiasm for working with the public, and an interest in local history. The position has potential for future growth as the Society grows.
Anticipated hourly rate:
