The front desk / office manager acts as the face of the company and ensures all customers feel welcomed the moment they stepped in our facility. This position entails managing the reception area, coordinating all shop activities, and supervising the tour guides. Though no specific degree is needed for the position, experience in handling sales, reporting procedures, and general administrative tasks are always a plus. Hospitality experience is also required, as well as some familiarity with using a booking system and adequate computer skills in common programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the front desk operations of the business Manage all front desk activities such as bookings, phone calls and emails Assign tours to tour guides based on schedule (first in, first out) Manage rentals Address all customer queries and concerns Perform administrative duties such as inventory, filing liability waivers, receiving letters and packages, managing office supplies and inventory etc. Managing deliveries and pick-ups Managing social media accounts To be a successful office manager, you should possess strong time management, analytical and organizational skills. A top-notch front desk should also provide exceptional customer service and strong leadership skills. Schedule will be Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 4 days/week, 10AM to 6PM (optional to work a 5th day if preferred)

Job will end in the Fall (can be September or October, flexible)
Job Location:
199 State Street, Boston, MA 02109 Required education: High school or equivalent Required experience: No experience required, just a willing attitude and growth-mindset.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
