We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Bookkeeper / Office Manager to support our financial operations and keep the office running smoothly. Position Overview This role combines day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities with general office management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and experienced in construction-related accounting processes. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Financial Management Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Process invoices, vendor payments, and client billing Reconcile bank and credit card statements Maintain accurate financial records and job cost tracking Assist with payroll processing and subcontractor payments Prepare financial reports for management and accountant Support budgeting and cost control efforts Office Management Oversee daily office operations and administrative tasks Maintain project files, contracts, and documentation Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients Manage insurance certificates, permits, and compliance documentation Order office supplies and maintain organized systems Assist with scheduling and general communications Qualifications 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (construction industry preferred) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) Strong understanding of job costing and construction workflows Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and holidays Flexible work environment Opportunity to grow with a respected local builder
