Office Administrator Metro Development, LLC. - 3.1 Baltimore, MD Job Details Part-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Accounting experience within construction industry Communication with suppliers Interpersonal skills Filing Workers' compensation insurance knowledge Attention to detail Construction industry experience Vendor relationship management Vendor communication Organizational skills Productivity software Accounting experience within real estate Time management Full Job Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reconciliation of Account Statements and Vendor statements. Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities for projects and tenants. Preparing and printing of all Vendor, Subcontractor, Employee reimbursement checks. Ensure that all required project documentation is filed appropriately. Pulling building, mechanical, HVAC, and U&O Permits and coordinating inspections Enter contracts and cost breakdowns for projects Responsible for job costing activities for projects. Responding to tenant requests. Coordinating contractors for maintenance or tenant projects in the various properties. Processing leases and addendums. Preparation of reports as needed. Ordering office and janitorial supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years' accounting experience in the construction/real estate industry with an understanding of construction contracts and terminology, workers compensation, unemployment insurance, and benefit administration. Timberline/Sage Construction experience a plus. Some college preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Above average problem-solving and time management skills. Must be self-motivated - this is a busy position that requires lots of communication with vendors, contractors, tenants and other departments. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software. Works well under tight deadlines while still maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
