We are a premier chimney contracting business providing residential chimney and fireplace products/services to the DMV area for over 30 years. Our updated office and gas fireplace showroom is located at 14320 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904. About the
Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive manager to take ownership of our administrative operations. This is strictly an administrative and customer-facing leadership role. You will run the office, manage the schedule, handle billing, and develop our administrative assistants so our operations team can focus purely on field execution. (You will not be responsible for managing install crews, ordering masonry inventory, or overseeing job-site logistics). Core Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Office Operations:
Direct, train, and supervise administrative assistants. Maintain office procedures, balance basic administrative tasks, and run weekly payroll using ADP.
Customer Experience & Showroom:
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills on the phone, in our gas fireplace showroom, and via email. Work calmly and efficiently under pressure to answer inquiries with consideration and intelligence.
Schedule & Dispatch:
Coordinate and schedule appointments for our sales representatives, diagnostic/service technician and Install crews.
Administrative & Financial:
Process payments over the phone and manage accounts payable/receivable.
Industry Knowledge:
Gain and maintain knowledge of the chimney services and hearth products offered to effectively answer customer questions and build strong professional relationships.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of office management experience required. Prior experience in a home service setting (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, etc.) is highly preferred.
Language:
Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with basic office applications (CRM software-Service Fusion, Google work suite, Adobe, etc.) and comfortable operating automated customer/appointment databases.
Industry Knowledge:
Chimney knowledge is desirable, but not initially required—we will train the right leader!

Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment, responsible, and exhibits clear leadership qualities. Major duties may include, but are not limited to: demonstrate excellent customer service skills on the phone and in person work calmly and efficiently under pressure complete tasks in a timely fashion dispatch repair/installation crews communicate efficiently with clients and team manage multiple phone lines answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls with a positive attitude check and reply to emails and voicemails schedule and coordinate appointments answer inquiries with consideration and intelligence process payments over the phone accounts payable/receivable operate and search using customer/appointment automated database operate basic computer applications handle estimates with follow-up calls and scheduling utilize filing systems for paperwork maintain office operations and procedures balance basic administrative tasks run weekly payroll with ADP gain and maintain knowledge of chimney services and hearth products offered build strong professional relationships with clients ensure exemplary service is being provided at each job location For immediate consideration, please apply now with a copy of your resume.
