Office Manager (Full or Part Time) Our growing law firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and keep our office running smoothly, our clients cared for, and our team empowered to focus on what we do best: practicing law. Monaghan Leahy is a mid-sized law firm with an outstanding reputation throughout Maine. We have earned the respect of judges, attorneys and clients alike.   • Manage day-to-day administrative operations of a busy legal office
  • Supervise support staff, including scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance oversight
  • Oversee human resource duties, including staff supervision, scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance oversight
  • Develop and enforce office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure that the firm complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including licensing requirements
  • Work with the office staff to develop goals and priorities
  • Listen to and resolve concerns from staff to ensure a productive work environment
  • Participate in management meetings and assist with strategic planning, budgeting, payroll and bookkeeping
  • A bachelor's or associate degree in business, management or related field preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles, preferably in the legal setting but not required
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and practice management software preferred but not required
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
