Job Description

Job Summary The Front Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office and providing exceptional customer support. This position is responsible for overseeing guest services, managing staff, and leading the front desk operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, effective time management abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Duties Have open availability to work with the front desk staff. Ensure adequate coverage of all shifts. Willingness to work varied shifts including holidays, evenings, and weekends a must Supervise front desk staff, ensuring efficient workflow. Hiring, scheduling, coaching, and providing reviews for the front desk team. Train new staff members on office protocols and customer service standards. Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Assist with guest reservations, groups, and answering guest feedback. Maintain great relationships with guests, group, companies, and vendors of the hotel. Handle guest billing including cash handling and bank deposits. Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing room status and inventory. Utilize multiple computer systems for day-to-day reservations and office tasks. Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents to ensure the security of guest and employee information. Adhere and enforce hotel policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and provide an excellent level of service. Attend staff meetings and trainings. Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and coordinate reordering as necessary. Qualifications Read, write, and speak fluent English. Have open availability to work nights / weekends to assist and manage the front desk team. Previous hotel management or supervising experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent time management skills to prioritize responsibilities effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work independently as well as leading a team. Hospitality degree preferred.
