Job Description

The Business Office Manager (BOM) Assistant will assist the Business Office Manager (BOM) in the managing the facility accounts receivable system. Tuition Reimbursement Student Loan Reimbursement Responsibilities:
Prepare daily bank deposit for the General Account, and provide to Business Office Manager (BOM) for posting. Prepare daily deposit for the Resident Trust Account. Distribute Petty Cash from Trust Account to Residents. Be prepared for State Survey regarding the trust Account. Assist with Medicaid applications. Obtain signatures on the Freedom of Choice once MDS Coordinator inputs the LOCD into the State System. Mailing private statements after Business Office Manager (BOM) reviews. Making private collection calls on outstanding payments. Checking Consolidated Billing Invoices. Mailing notices of Medicare Non Coverage once reviewed by Business Office Manager (BOM).
Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions, (word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.) Strong organizational and analytical skills; oral and written communications skills.
