Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and organized Office Manager to keep our daily operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for managing office functions, supporting staff, and ensuring an efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and skilled in multitasking, with a knack for keeping things organized and running seamlessly. Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations including taking customer calls, scheduling work, maintaining digital and physical files, and other clerical tasks as needed Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Process weekly payroll and make liability payments, including union fringe benefits Assist with project management by preparing proposals, pay applications, submittals and closeout documents Apply for state and local municipal permits, schedule inspections and maintain records Assist with job costing by tracking expenses and providing job cost reports Handle human resources functions such as employee onboarding and maintaining personnel records Requirements Construction experience strongly preferred but not required Proven experience in office management positions Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping and payroll processing, as well as Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe. Exceptional communication skills and professional phone and email etiquette Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
