Our team is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment for both our residents and employees. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Business Office Assistant to join our administrative team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service to residents, families, and team members. Position Summary The Business Office Assistant supports the daily operations of the Business Office by assisting with resident billing, collections, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and admissions paperwork. This position plays an important role in helping ensure the financial and administrative functions of the facility run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist with resident billing, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay accounts Support accounts receivable and collections efforts Help process admissions paperwork and verify insurance information Maintain accurate financial and resident records Assist with payroll preparation and timekeeping review Answer questions from residents and families regarding billing and account balances Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and data entry Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Assist the Business Office Manager with special projects and reporting as needed Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare, long-term care, or medical billing preferred Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally High school diploma or equivalent required; additional business or accounting coursework preferred Why Join Our Team?
