Job Description
Rich Square Health & Rehabilitation Center in Rich Square, NC is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as the Business Office Manager. As the Business Office Manager, you will be an integral part of our leadership team, responsible for managing the center's billing and accounts receivable functions. Your role will involve overseeing the billing processes, coordinating with insurance providers, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will play a pivotal role in helping us meet our commitment to providing Care Beyond Compare by maintaining optimal billing practices which support the continued financial success of the center. Ensure accurate and timely billing of all accounts and work closely with insurance providers to ensure timely follow-up and processing of outstanding claims. Verify insurance coverage for patients and communicate effectively with patients and families regarding billing inquiries. Consistently follow-up on outstanding patient accounts to ensure timely collection of balances. Oversee and maintain accurate accounting of Resident Fund Accounts. Develop and maintain good working rapport with other departments in the healthcare center. Other duties as needed for the successful operation of the center. What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience in healthcare accounts or business office services preferred. Experience with health insurance claims including Medicare and Medicaid. Ability to effectively coordinate people and resources. Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a salaried/exempt position.
