Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Manager to support the daily operations of our dance studio. This role is the first point of contact for families and plays a key part in ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and professional studio environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and prospective families (in person, email, and phone) Manage front desk operations during class hours Assist with class registrations, trial classes, and account setup Maintain accurate student records and attendance in studio management software (e.g., JackRabbit) Support communication efforts including emails and announcements Coordinate scheduling updates and assist with studio calendar management Assist with event planning and execution (recitals, open house, auditions, etc.) Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby/front office space Support studio leadership and staff with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional, friendly, and positive demeanor Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Comfortable using technology and learning new systems (experience with JackRabbit is a plus) Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Prior administrative or customer service experience required (dance studio experience a plus)
Schedule Expectations:
Primarily afternoon and evening hours (aligned with class schedule) Occasional weekend availability for events and performances

The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
