Learning Specialist Proctor Academy seeks a highly collaborative and dedicated learning specialist passionate about helping adolescents grow their academic skills, self-awareness, and ability to self-advocate. The successful applicant will have a background in teaching high school students with ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and various learning differences. In addition, applicants should have expertise in helping students develop effective reading comprehension, written expression, and study skills, as well as the ability to support students in math, preferably through the Precalculus level. Applicants should also possess strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to create a positive, productive learning climate. Experience with reading educational evaluations to develop appropriate accommodation plans and Learning Skills program goals is also essential. Proficiency with Google Workspace and the Learning Management System, Canvas, is a plus. Applicants must also be able to manage workflow to meet deadlines promptly and thoroughly, have a commitment to excellence, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Patience, creativity, flexibility, and the ability to successfully address students' diverse, multiple learning needs within a tutorial environment are also required. Facilities Team Lead - Buildings Proctor Academy is looking for an experienced Facilities Team Lead to perform a variety of maintenance duties to provide safe, efficient building operations for Proctor Academy Students, Staff and Visitors. The Facilities Team Lead - Buildings position is a working position, with significant time spent working alongside the maintenance team, completing daily work requests, checklists, inspections and special projects. This individual supervises Facilities Buildings staff and participates in the On-Call program. Essential functions include, but are not limited to: Lead, train, and mentor a team of facilities technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and high-quality workmanship. Assist in development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all campus buildings, systems, and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems. With management, aligning work duties and assignments with the critical needs of the buildings (physical plant). Assist in overseeing the general maintenance and repair of academic buildings, dormitories, faculty housing, athletic facilities, and administrative offices. In partnership with the grounds team lead and under the direction of management, participate in snow and ice removal operations to ensure campus roads, walkways, and entrances are safe and accessible during New England winters. This requires availability outside of normal work hours. Qualifications & Skills required include: High school diploma or GED required Associate's degree or Vocational/Trade School certification in a relevant field (e.g., facilities management, construction technology, HVAC) is highly preferred. Professional License in a Building Trade may be substituted for education requirements. A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance. Experience in an educational or institutional setting is preferred. NHDES Class A/B Operator Certification or attained within 6 months of hire date. Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in one or more skilled trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC) is preferred.
