Position Summary:
The Office Manager oversees daily office operations to ensure exceptional customer relations, maximum efficiency, quality control, and a positive, collaborative work environment. Serves as an ambassador by adhering to our Brand Promise, Guarantees and Pledges and our Co-Worker Guarantees and Pledges.Essential Functions:
Recruit, hire, and staff the office with qualified personnel. Supervise, train, and develop office staff to deliver a high level of customer service; conduct weekly team huddles. Assist customers with questions, issues, or complaints that cannot be resolved by Customer Service Representatives. Conduct performance evaluations, complete performance scorecards, and make wage recommendations to the District Manager. Prepare and submit payroll information and benefit changes for the district. Participate in department head meetings and conduct monthly coaching meetings. Promote teamwork and maintain high standards of professionalism. Develop a thorough understanding of company computer systems, reports, programs, promotions, HR issues, and policies and procedures. Assist, as needed, with the development of new district reports and reporting procedures. Maintain knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, including sales and use tax, sexual harassment, workers' compensation, payroll, and video display terminal training requirements. Provide leadership, coaching, training, and support in areas including: Employee orientation and development Sales involvement District outings or events Ergonomics and office safety Workers' compensation Annual budgetingEducation:
A college degree or a combination of education and experience is required.Experience:
The Office Manager should have several years of previous experience in a supervisory role in an office environment.Other Attributes Required:
