  • $85,000 About the Opportunity We are partnering with a well-established, professional services firm with over 20 years of success to identify an experienced Office Manager.
This organization supports a diverse portfolio of clients and operates with a collaborative, team-oriented culture. With a diverse team of professionals based in New Jersey, North Carolina and the Middle East. They have steady client base. This role is central to keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. Position Overview The Office Manager will serve as a key operational partner, overseeing financial administration, HR functions, and general office management. This is a highly visible role requiring strong organization, discretion, and the ability to balance multiple priorities across accounting, people operations, and administrative support. You will interact with our senior team, clients and vendors. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations
  • Manage bookkeeping, billing, and client invoicing (including pass-through expenses)
  • Oversee collections and process payments via ACH and credit card
  • Administer payroll through ADP, including employee expenses and commissions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting using QuickBooks Online
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data Human Resources & People Operations Administer payroll and employee benefits Coordinate with brokers to evaluate and manage benefits offerings Support recruiting efforts, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, culture, and team events Assist with career development coordination and internal growth initiatives Office Administration Oversee daily office operations and vendor coordination Manage onboarding logistics and IT coordination for new hires Plan and execute company events (e.
g., holiday parties, team gatherings) Ensure a well-organized, efficient, and positive office environment Qualifications 5+ years of experience in an Office Manager or similar multifaceted role, preferably in a professional services business Strong background in bookkeeping, billing, and payroll processing Experience with ADP and QuickBooks Online required Working knowledge of HR practices, benefits administration, and recruiting support Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits & Perks Health coverage Vision insurance Short-term and long-term disability Term life insurance 401(k) with company match up to 5% Generous paid time off: 17 days PTO (inclusive of sick time) 6 paid holidays 1 volunteer day every 6 months Annual merit bonus
