Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Office Manager with Prompt - Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience to oversee the daily operations of our chiropractic/acupuncture/ occupational therapy/medical facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive medical office management expertise, including proficiency with EMR and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, and demonstrate strong leadership in supervising administrative and clinical staff. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management, medical administrative support, and fiscal oversight to ensure efficient practice operations while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry standards. Duties Manage the overall administrative functions of the multi-disciplinary office, ensuring smooth daily operations. Oversee EMR systems such as Prompt EMR to optimize clinical documentation and workflow efficiency. Supervise medical administrative staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources management. Coordinate billing, coding, and financial management activities to ensure accurate revenue cycle processes and budgeting adherence. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of medical records and patient information. Collaborate with clinical teams to streamline clinic workflows, improve patient experience, and enhance operational efficiency. Monitor practice performance metrics, implement process improvements, and manage resource allocation effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting. Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems including Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing healthcare staff across administrative and clinical roles. Familiarity with fiscal management practices such as budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations. Background in nursing, acute care, hospital experience or dental clinic experience is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for liaising with staff, patients, vendors, and external agencies. $25.56 - $30.79 per hour
