Job Description

Our client, a specialty food manufacturing and distribution company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Wayne, NJ. This role supports customer relations and sales operations by managing orders, coordinating documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, production, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner Enter, manage, and verify customer orders prior to shipment Request Certificates of Analysis (COA) from Quality Assurance for active sales orders Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate customer records Coordinate special production runs and communicate scheduling updates with production teams Provide customers with documentation such as COAs, specifications, labels, testing reports, and treatment records Prepare and process invoices, credits, debits, returns, and COD payments Prepare and manage Canadian export documentation Maintain treatment records and logistics documentation for ETO and IRR treatments Coordinate treatment scheduling and production transfers Ensure all regulatory, treatment, and customer documentation is properly recorded and archived Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Bilingual in Spanish and English required Strong clerical, organizational, and documentation management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in food manufacturing or distribution preferred

  • Thursday, 8:30 AM
  • 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM
