Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Office Manager to join our team at our Durango dental practice. The Assistant Office Manager plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the office, ensuring exceptional patient experiences, assisting with staff supervision, and helping maintain efficient workflows throughout the practice. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-service oriented, and has previous experience in a dental or healthcare office setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day operations of the dental office. Support the Office Manager in overseeing front office staff and workflows. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address concerns in a professional manner. Assist with scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment coordination. Monitor daily schedules to maximize efficiency and patient flow. Support employee onboarding, training, and performance management initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist with managing office supplies, equipment, and facility needs. Handle patient account inquiries and assist with collections when necessary. Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure a positive patient experience. Prepare reports and perform administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office required. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of dental insurance, scheduling, and patient registration processes preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental practice management software.
