This pivotal role combines financial expertise with office leadership, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be energized by managing complex accounting tasks, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering an organized, efficient workplace. Your proactive approach will support our mission to deliver exceptional service while maintaining rigorous financial integrity. Accounting & Financial Duties Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with month-end closing activities Process and post incoming payments daily, including checks and electronic payments Record, reconcile, and review credit card transactions and supporting receipts for accuracy Process, maintain, and post daily bank deposits Conduct reconciliations for operating accounts across multiple entities Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related accounting functions Assist with internal audits, billing code reviews, and case audits as needed Perform general ledger reviews and basic financial analysis Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Office Management & Administrative Duties Oversee daily office operations and provide administrative support to leadership and staff Maintain office organization, supplies, and operational efficiency Coordinate communication between departments, vendors, clients, and staff Assist with scheduling, document management, and internal reporting Support onboarding and administrative coordination for new employees Help develop and improve internal processes, procedures, and organizational systems Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive company information Provide general operational and departmental support as assigned QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, office management, or a related administrative role Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Proficiency in QuickBooks is required Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Compensation $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications Benefits Life Safety offers a highly competitive benefits package, including: No-cost health insurance for qualifying basic plans Dental and Vision coverage 100% employer match on 401(k) contributions up to 4% for full-time employees Paid vacation time after 90 working days of full-time employment Growth Opportunity This role offers substantial opportunity for professional growth and advancement within the organization.
